Marantz Receiver With HEOS

Marantz SR7011

Despite being a name that built its reputation firmly in the two channel arena Marantz are becoming a more prominent name in the AV world, thanks to producing not only gorgeous looking AV receivers with their distinctive port hole design, but products that are also specced to the hilt

Taking on some of its stable mate DENON’s AV heritage the Marantz includes support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D allowing you to drive a full 5.1.4 home cinema setup without the need of additional external amplifiers. Each channel is provided with 200w of pure Marantz power and finesse

The SR7011 is the first Marantz receiver to include HEOS multiroom technology on board, allowing the SR7011 to become the central hub of a multi room system that can be built up using any of the HEOS products currently available.

You can explore, browse, and play music from your own music library, from online streaming music services, and from thousands of internet radio stations using the free HEOS app. And additional Bluetooth and AirPlay let you stream music directly from any compatible device.

SR7011 features an advanced video section that's fully compatible with the latest HDMI and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all 8 HDMI ports. With 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4, High Dynamic Range (HDR), 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through support on every input.

The previously mentioned port hole design gives the SR7011 a totally different look to conventional AV Receivers, and is really rather eye-catching.

Just below the port hole is a flip down panel that exposes a larger display that allows easy navigation of settings menus using the buttons that are also hidden away.

If you’re looking for an AV Receiver that can work well in a two channel setup the Marantz should definitely be considered. Marantz HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology found on the Reference Series components provides superior low noise wideband performance in an all-discrete configuration.

If Hi-Res audio is of interest to you the SR7011 is more than capable of delivering the goods with the ability to decode up to 24-bit/192-kHz ALAC, FLAC and WAV lossless files, as well as DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks (the audiophile format of SACD) via the front panel USB port and network sources, and you can also listen to other popular file types such as MP3.
